Here's the full spread full of blues and aquas. This was a week where I went to work for three days and started vacation Thursday.
I used watercolors to fill in spots of my stamped image and the background paper. I used the amazing letter thickers in the project life kit this month for the "week" but there were no numbers so I used a different set of cork for the number 20. I added two printables (More Happy Little Moments Class PDF's) and used pop dots to create some dimension.
A lovely picture of my parents at dinner. I used a piece of flair (that I hit with a hammer, yes a hammer, so that it didn't create such a bulge in my page protector and it worked great!) I also added some wood veneer chevron's and added some watercolor to them and love how they turned out. I think I'm going to start painting everything...watch out!
I used a frame from the Pier Collection to frame one picture of the view from our dinner. I used the alphabet stickers from one of the project life Studio Calico kits and added a little fabric paper clip for some fun.
I'd say this may be my favorite. I cut the "a day in the life" (Ali Edwards) with my Silhouette Cameo and used watercolors to make it blend in with the page. I love my new bowl from Anthropologie and had to document it. I stitched over the label and added an enamel dot for the "o" in bowl.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by <3

Great job. Not doing PL but I enjoy seeing what everyone is doing. I find little bits of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I just started this past year and have really gotten into it. It brings out creativity in a whole new way I feel like.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely! The blue/aqua watercolouring is so relaxing and all the little details you've added to the pages tie so nicely together.
ReplyDeleteLove the color scheme..and good for you for being able to stop on all these weeks. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous love the blue and green :)
ReplyDeleteI like your lighting. Did you take these photos outside?
ReplyDeleteThank you, and YES,outside. I have a white poster board that I put out in my yard and take photos directly above, then crop. I always love the images I get when taking photos this way :0
ReplyDeleteAh the blue throughout the spread is stunning. I love seeing a consistent colour, and yet I haven't been able to make a layout like that because I get distracted by pretty kits. You've inspired me to try harder this week.
