I never use kraft cardstock for my background but something urged me to give it a try (I literally had two pieces of kraft in my stash.) I wanted to play around with the blacks, aquas and lime colors I love so that's just what I did here.
Lots of scraps here from my stash to create some visual interest and three smaller photos along the right side of the layout.
I can't stay away from my enamel dots, love them! I also used the love cut file from Studio Calico's sugar rush digital files.
Some more looks at the layers, a little pop of a tag, enamel dots and a resin flower.
Thanks for stopping by <3

Love how you used the scraps! Great page; the kraft background is perfect for showing off the splatters and die cut words!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Is it weird when the white splatters were wet I thought they looked like someone dripped milk on my page...ha!
DeleteI love this page! The pics are really sweet, too!
ReplyDeleteWell done for going outside of your comfort zone and using the kraft background. I'm curious how you feel about the finished product. (I think it turned out great.) :P
ReplyDeleteI like the color combo so that helps but this may be something I start to do more :)
DeleteAwesome layout, love the Kraft background and the white ink :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love kraft backgrounds and think this is super gorgeous! (It's fun to experiment with new colors sometimes, huh?) :)
ReplyDeleteThanks and agreed, so fun to push myself for something new and that's what this is all about, having fun creating right!?
DeleteI love this layout. I saw it on the Studio Calico gallery. Love it.
